lfm 0 Posted September 13, 2007 Hi All, I've been banded for 3 weeks already. I've been going to the gym for two weeks already. I go five days a week for one hour. I do the bicycle for 30 minutes, I walk for 15 minutes and I jog for 15 minutes with no problems. The problem is that if i try to run fast the part where i have the port starts hurting alot and i was wondering if that's going to be forever. I guess this question is for those who have been banded for a longer time than I have. I used to play soccer and I'm itching to start playing again. Any advice or comments will be gladly appreciated. losingjusme 12 Posted September 13, 2007 my personal opinion, 3 weeks is too soon to be running and it looks like your body is telling you the same thing. maybe ease up a bit and try again in a couple of weeks. your port is the place you want to be really careful. it is stitched in a muscle and you want it to heal well. congrats on being banded.
