Julie norton 2,850 Posted November 25, 2016 Had a lost moment where 6 pies got a little too much tasting . Went and worked out today... determined to not let a small stumble be a large fall.... into a vat of pumpkin and whipped cream. Yikes
Dairymary 533 Posted November 26, 2016 Good for you. I actually don't think twice about going nuts on a day like Thanksgiving. Yesterday, besides turkey I had mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, yams, caramel apple pie, blueberry cheesecake AND pumpkin pie with whipped cream. All small portions of course, but more carbs than I usually have in a whole week. But I've learned through the years that one day is not going to derail my weightloss no matter how "bad" I am. As long as it's an exception, not a rule, I don't worry about it. Hope you enjoyed the six pies....don't feel bad about it and you are right back on track. That's what matters. BTW, what kind were they?
Babbs 14,681 Posted November 26, 2016 4 words. Home made pecan pie. I had a piece yesterday, but my husband needs to hurry up and eat the rest before I do.

I'm with you Dairy.... one day does not a downfall make. And may I say it was dang good [emoji512]
jess9395 5,449 Posted November 27, 2016 Somewhere I read it's not what you eat from thanksgiving to New Years but what you eat New Years to thanksgiving. I'm not going that far, but yea not gonna worry about the fact that I ate more carbs in one day than the whole week! Just won't let it become a new normal.
