abbylynn 4 Posted November 25, 2016 I think it's probably trapped gas but I'd go in because chest pain isn't anything to joke about. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
adriant 109 Posted November 25, 2016 Sounds like trapped air (gas) I have found that I have to sit bolt upright to eat and never drink anything at the same time, always have to wait for about an hour before I can drink liquid. shedo82773 1,236 Posted November 25, 2016 Don't hesitate to call your DR. It would be better SAFE THAN SORRY!!! Just to be safe!! Also, if it is gas you can ask your team if you can use PAPAYA ENZYMES. They are natural and have saved me so many times. They are AWESOME!!! You can buy them at Walmart for less than $5.00. They are in their Vitamin section
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted November 25, 2016 Do you still have your gall bladder? I seriously thought I was having a heart attack when I was really just trying to pass a gall stone.
WGH3IWDT 93 Posted November 25, 2016 No I had my gallbladder removed years ago. I'm almost sure it was gas and I believe the tea, gas-x, Water and walking around helped it to move. And I'd like to Thank-You All. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using the BariatricPal App
Drea72 1 Posted November 25, 2016 I'm on day 5 post sleeve and I'm experiencing the same chest pressure. I had to take of my bra off and walked around. It was definitely trapped gas. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
leebick 448 Posted November 26, 2016 My surgeon told me that my sleeve is located pretty much directly behind the lower part of my breastbone. Pressure in this area indicates that I'm full or over-full.
meandmysleeve37 0 Posted November 27, 2016 Lay on your left side, walk, lay on your left side, repeat. It sounds like some serious epigastric pain! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Miss Rachel 25 Posted November 28, 2016 Not to be an alarmist but go get that checked out in the er. I have had 2 heart attacks and after surgery we are more at risk. Don't take chances. Sent from bariatric pal app
