lag1949 0 Posted September 13, 2007 I just received a call from the Surgery Center, made a appointment for next week, I am so excited. I also made a appointment for a seminar for next week also. They told me I had to have a letter of refferal from my Primary Doctor, so I called and they told me I would have to get a letter from insurance company. So there is some confusion there but I am sure I can get thru it. I have to go to a nutritionist for 6 months before the surgery is performed according to my Insurance Company(Cigna HMO). But I am very hopefull and hope everything works out. It has helped reading all the boards and some very interesting stories, I am sure this will help during this long process. If anyone has any input I would love to hear from you. By the way I live in Florida and I will be going to a Surgical Weight Reduction Surgery Center in Wellington. If anyone out there has any info about the hospital please write. :whoo:

lag1949 0 Posted September 14, 2007 Thank you for your reply I don't get many. When you go for your visits what does the doctor discuss with you. I am just curious.. I have struggled with my weight for so many years I just hope I don't fail this ...
Thinner me 1 Posted September 15, 2007 My doctor has me keep a daily food diary. He wants me to be eating 1500 cal/day and 64g of protien/day. He wants me to do some sort of exercise everyday as well. He is an awesome doc... more like a family friend and he knows the struggles I have had with my weight over the years. Good luck hon.
