Dry Skin or Hair loss

I remember my doctor saying that if you dont get enough nutrients you may have Hair loss. However, I've noticed my skin is very dry to a point where i realized it may be because of my new eatin habit.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or noticed anything different about their body besides weight loss?

You need at least 6-70 grams of Protein everyday.

I hope the weight loss helps to dry up my otherwise terribly oily skin. Is that why such a greasy face? All the crap I used to eat?

For me it's dry, brittle nails. I'm taking fish oil and Vitamin E in additon to my regular Vitamins, but my manicurist is still commenting on how bad they've gotten and says it must be the change in nutrition.

Make sure you are still getting enough good fats... olive oil, avocado, etc.

Yes im taking the flintstones vitamins..lol ... but i know im not getting at least 60 grams of protein.. im drinking myoplex that has 42 grams...but by the end of the day a bottle of Water crystal light and the myoplex and maybe some tuna i cant hold anymore...I'm going to have to talk to my doc..thanks you ladies for openning up

Dry skin and brittle nails could be a sign of hypothyroidism. I'd get your thyroxine level checked.
