Hazel_eyez 173 Posted November 28, 2016 Reading the positive words from here, looking at before and after pictures, and remembering that gall bladder and knee surgery has more complications and I know several people who had knee surgery. I can tell you just remain positive. You don't want to go under anesthesia with bad thoughts. So I started to make jokes.
RNMomof4 86 Posted November 28, 2016 Omg my fear is going under.. How did you over come it Sent from my LGLS675 using the BariatricPal App The anesthesiologist will give you plenty of meds to relax you and you will never know you are "going under." I remember getting ready to leave the pre-op area then the next thing I remember is waking up in recovery. Try not to worry Sent from my iPhone

Try not to worry Sent from my iPhone yes I don't even remember going under I remember going into the operating room them say we're gunna give u something to relax u and then waking up in recovery lol. As soon as I woke up I asked to walk they said I had to be moved to my room before I could walk so they moved me to a room right away when they said are u ready to get into ur bed(from the stretcher) I said no I'm ready to take a walk. They were shocked. I was called the role model patient. I didn't sleep at all not even thru the night I just kept walking. I've never been away from my kids so I couldn't sleep without them. I was supposed to be there two days I went home the next day bc I was doing so well. It went so much better then I assumed I had gastric bypass.
