Bufflehead 6,358 Posted November 21, 2016 Sometimes your weight loss will just naturally pause for a while and you have to wait it out. But in order to be really sure, you need to make sure you are in a significant caloric deficit. How many calories are you eating each day?
shedo82773 1,236 Posted November 21, 2016 I would say work on getting in your Protein and up your fluids, just in case your body is thinking you are starving. Sometimes that happens. Also, it may just be your body catching up with the loss you already had. Just KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE keep doing YOU and make sure you are following your program. I know it is hard but TRUST yourself and KEEP on KEEPING on!! Good Luck
stacyrg2 350 Posted November 21, 2016 In addition to how many calories are you eating, what are they comprised of? You say you don't eat enough Protein, but how many Protein grams are you eating? What about carbs? Fluids? What you eat can definitely stall your progress.

suzzzzz 1,005 Posted November 21, 2016 It is very important to get your Protein in so your body will release the fat. Otherwise it just thinks it needs to keep storing it in case you need it. I would stop eating the bread because it is high carbs and takes up precious room in your sleeve. And, drink, drink, drink. liquids will carry all the fat and toxins out. So instead of a sandwich, make turkey or ham rollups with cheese, avocado, or something else flavorful. You can season and dice up chicken into lettuce leaves. Make chicken and tuna salad and keep eggs handy to have anytime. At 5 mths out, I still have a Protein shake for Breakfast. It fills me up and starts the day off right. #BirdDog 604 Posted November 22, 2016 Excellent advise right there. Are you tracking your food? Usually when stalls happen people are either not sticking to their plan or their body is taking time to adjust. So I would suggest reevaluating your food choices, track everything that goes in your mouth (including the carb count), and be honest with yourself about your exercise. If all of that is in line then it's just your body adjusting from rapid weight loss. Also my nutritionist and surgeon frown on not getting in 4 to 5 small meals a day. Your body needs fuel.
