laura1116 112 Posted November 20, 2016 I am almost 5 weeks out and I am on soft foods. I am so happy with what my sleeve is doing for me. It's just that I feel some kind of, for lack of a better word, weirdness in my stomach all day. Whether it's heartburn, hunger, gas, nausea or like food is not going down, I never feel comfortable. It's very distracting. Any feed back on this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I know you just want to get on with life and be normal, but it will take time for you to get used to the way your new tummy feels. It really won't always be that way. I feel totally normal, and did from about 3 months on.
Nicky6 9 Posted November 21, 2016 I'm almost three weeks out and feel the same, it's a strange feeling, it's sort of like when you are pregnant (not sure of your a mum) but even when you aren't thinking about it something reminds you. Hopefully it doesn't last too much longer for you
Dairymary 533 Posted November 21, 2016 Took about 4 months before I felt "right".
TiredOfMyself 141 Posted November 21, 2016 I'm 4 weeks out and feel the same way. I met with my doctor the other day and told her I feel like crap but I couldn't tell her why, I'm not tired, I'm not hungry, I'm in a little pain but not a lot, I just feel like absolute crap. I am also LOUD! It's embarrassing trying to have a conversation with someone and have to keep excusing myself. My kids say they are my dinosaur noises. laura1116 112 Posted November 22, 2016 Thank you all for responding. Now on top of it I am all of a sudden having a problem getting my crystal light down. Only thing that goes down good are my shakes and yogurt and I am supposed to be on my second week of soft foods. Everything I try seems to just feel like it's sticking in my esophagus for a long time. I chew every bite and only take a bite the size of a pea.
