BrookeTiffani 54 Posted November 19, 2016 Hey guys. How do you know if you are dumping? I haven't had any other symptoms aside from (please excuse, TMI) diarrhea. Have had it today only and only two times. Is this dumping? Havent had hot flashes or nausea or racing heart. Wondering if this is just from something I ate or if I ate too much of something if that makes sense.
Treadmillwalker 486 Posted November 20, 2016 Not dumping, suspect it is something you ate. Had lapband surgery 10/12/
Travelher 915 Posted November 20, 2016 (edited) I dumped twice this week. Hard to describe...first time upset stomach...bit of nausea, feeling woozy and generally unwell. Second time all of the above plus hot flashes as well...lasted about an hour. Caused by drinking my shake too fast. Jess_eR 13 Posted November 20, 2016 It's apparently called lower dumping as I get it too. None of the other symptoms - just gurgling the terrible diarrhea after a meal Sent from my SM-G900F using the BariatricPal App
jacintabelz 4 Posted November 21, 2016 I was naughty and tested the waters and had a mouthful of a sweet desert and I felt so sick and sweaty. Never ever will I eat sweet items again, not worth the risk and the weight gain. You will know when your experiencing dumping. Just little amounts of new foods at a time. Good luck ???? BrookeTiffani 54 Posted November 21, 2016 I am still too scared to try anything sweet. I have thought about it but 1 i dont have a taste for anything sweet right now and 2 i am way too chicken. lol. In a way I am afraid of dumping but also am hoping for it to keep me in line and not allow myself to think sweets are "ok" even for a splurge.
