rayh 2 Posted November 19, 2016 Hey all, I've posted a couple times in the pre op forum. First post op post! I was banded yesterday afternoon. Quick, relatively painless, and home last night. Minus the neck and shoulder pain, and the insane want to belch and, well, send it the other direction ... I'm feeling pretty good. The Water intake is less than great. My post op says I should have between 6 and 8 glasses. I'm up to one and a half at 3:30 in the afternoon. Ok, well, hope you're all well. Power to the banded! ... sure, why not? Julie norton 2,850 Posted November 19, 2016 Congratulations on starting a new way of eating and living. My take is that you can get what you put into Wls . Please follow your dr rules and keep going....this can be life changing!!!! Next month I'll Celebrate 10 years with my band. It changed my life... and almost 100 lbs. so happy with my decision... Just know there is a lot of push back against banding. It does not work for some ... clearly. I like the keep it under inflated camp myself. Less problems !! Treadmillwalker 486 Posted November 20, 2016 I was banded 10/12/16. It took me a couple of weeks to adjust and get all my Water and Protein in. I had my first fill 11/15/16 and I feel minimal restriction. I will have my second fill after Christmas and third in late January. I was told it will take 3 to 5 fills to reach my sweet a/k/a green spot. I look forward to seeing how I adjust. Best wishes to you. Had lapband surgery 10/12/
