Redmaxx 740 Posted November 22, 2016 So what happened???????
BariatricGal 12 Posted November 22, 2016 First, I want to say, I was kept in recovery for EIGHT hours which contributed to me becoming cranky and irritable. There was NO Rooms available for patients to be moved into. My surgeon had Six surgeries that day. I was number three scheduled for 11 AM. I actually was brought in early and surgery was only an hour. The Recovery Room was full of several other patients, their family members, staff, so noisy, bright lights, movement, voices - I wanted peace and quiet by this time -and I was fine until about the last 30 minutes before my room was ready to be moved into. Once I got to room and settled to rest a machine started BEEPING. It would not stop and I was trying to push a non-functioning nurse button on the bed (should have pushed the nurse button on the TV remote) and had to start yelling for help. The nurse couldn't stop the beeping so she called a tech. and he couldn't repair the machine to stop the beeping so they ended up having to replace the Beeping machine. Right after this the assistant nurse came in to take my blood pressure. I told her it was probably SKY High. She left with plans to come back later but didn't say that or I didn't hear her. I was like "NOOO, I want it documented." I called and told them come take my blood pressure. No food - No sleep = Me being Bitchy.
