OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted November 16, 2016 Most of them are too filling and too high in calories for a bari patient. you can just put some shredded cheese in a non stick skillet on low heat, watch it, let it get crispy and put toppings on it. Just make sure you use a pizza sauce with no sugar added. Also I am going to tell you, right now, pizza toppings whatever, will trigger restriction because you are still healing. Once you are fully healed, they might become sliders. Pizza toppings offer no restriction for me whatsoever. I could eat the toppings off a whole large pizza if I wanted. So just be careful reintroducing pizza if it is one of your weaknesses. I don't really like pizza so it is not an issue for me, but when I realized it didn't trigger restriction in me I got very scared. You could also just use this recipe https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1793517 and add some meat to it.
deb2571 70 Posted November 17, 2016 Flat out brand tortillas make a good pizza crust. They're low carb too. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
