It ntn came out only burping... I'm on my 7th week... I cannot even drink Water... whole day my mouth feels weird and I feel like throwing up ... does anyone know why this is happening? Dashofpixiedust8 1,469 Posted November 16, 2016 You need to call your surgeon. There could be an obstruction or kink. I had similar issues with nausea and not being able to eat or drink and I was admitted to the hospital while they figured it out. They will most likely tell you to go to ER, so be prepared for that. Hammer_Down 631 Posted November 16, 2016 That's really brutal, must be tough to be going through! I have totally lost the sensation of hunger at 3 weeks post op, but I have no problem getting lots of Water in. It's possible you have developed a stricture in your sleeve. I would recommend contacting your surgical team post haste, just in case. Maybe it's a normal stepping stone on the way, but you'd be better off knowing for sure. Its one thing for things to just not taste good, but to go for 3 days and get NOTHING down and have the sensation to throw up all the time, I would think something was wrong. virtuous83 13 Posted November 17, 2016 That happened to me too. I had a metallic taste in my mouth that was preventing me from eating and drinking. This also happened to me while I was pregnant. I bought the salty prunes (saladidos I don't think I spelled it correctly) and it helped take the taste away and I was able to eat and drink (I did not eat them just lick them before Eating and drinking) I also switched my Water.
