skipuVSG 0 Posted November 18, 2016 I just had mine on November 1st. I had all of the worry and anxiety you are having. Don't worry. It's no so bad. The procedure is not bad at all and the recovery gets easier about three days after some gas and pain (just take your prescriptions and take it easy). Just remember to breathe and walk. Those are key! If you can't reach out to friends and family for a support system, you're definitely in the right place for advice and support. lileryn87 0 Posted December 29, 2016 I also had surgery 12/12/16 I kinda feel like we're surgery sisters or something! My mother was up for the first week but I am now left to recover alone with my 9 year old daughter. I've noticed that staying busy (at least keeping my mind busy) seems to help me from feeling sorry for myself or missing food. Hope things are going well (and you're not experiencing as much odd spurts of tears or buyers remorse as I am)! I don't feel buyers remorse in spite of all the suffering I went through. Don't get me wrong there were moments I did doubt my choice especially when I kept vomiting. I have a almost nine year old daughter. My mother helped me for about three days then I was on my own. But it's nothing I'm not used to which is probably why I'm as independent as I am.
