nurse247 74 Posted November 23, 2016 I think mine was deferred back pain from the gas instilled during surgery. Walking was the best thing for me and getting that gas released. I feel so much better now a week and a half post op. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Missbeauty16 51 Posted November 23, 2016 I haven't experienced that yet, I am only 2days post op and I'm hoping I don't get back pain! Praying for you all. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

janicemscott 8 Posted November 25, 2016 I'm about three weeks out and have horrible back pain. My dr said it was because of the gas for surgery. Such s bummer. I go back to work on Monday and am on my feet all day so I'm hoping the pain goes away. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
ellie2016 12 Posted November 25, 2016 Could be food is stuck. "They" say to walk it down. Don't eat on top of it. Check in with your dr and try to use more liquid when you eat so chicken isn't so dry. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
BariatricGal 12 Posted November 25, 2016 I still have a bit of back pain occasionally. I just use a heating pad and it really helps.

Anna Nim 196 Posted December 18, 2016 I have right side pain. Feels like muscles I guess. IDK. Have to hold it when I get up. I was sleeved on Wed the 14th. Been drinking Water, warm tea and creamed, strained Soups. I tooted today and felt that was a victory Throat is still sore too, I had a hital hernia repair. Didn't feel much gas from surgery, although I did feel it in my shoulders and wonder if my side pain is that.
