HELLO OUT THERE IN BAND LAND... I AM 41 YEARS OLD AND HAVE A BMI OF 50 AND TIP THE scales AT 350. I'M JUST STARTING TO LOOK INTO THE LAP BAND AND I HAVE BEEN READING THE INFO THATS ON THIS WEBSITE FOR ABOUT A MONTH I HAD MY MIND MADE UP BUT NOW IM NOT SURE. Welcome. Keep in mind that not everyones experience is the same and most people do great with the band. Don't be afraid to ask specific questions if something is concerning you, just about everyone here is friendly and willing to offer their help.

Thinner_me is exactly right! I also think that there are so many more bandsters out there not posting on this site that are doing great and we just would never know about it!
