I had surgery November, I'm only sore and tender, really where the drain-now incision is. Doc says everything is great. How how long before you had no more pains?

My drain area healed up fast with no pain on a few days! Everyone is so different! Amazing!!!

My left side pain got better enough to stop pain meds in 1.5 weeks and then I overdid it and strained s tummy muscle.. ouch!!

Try ice to the area for pain relief and I was allowed to put aquaphor on incisions to help stop the itching...it helps too!

I still have my Drain in, had sleeve surgery Friday morning. The pain has been unreal. My discharge has turned from light fruit punch color to an oily dark green. Seeing Dr in the morning. Also running a fever of 100.3. Been miserable. Sipping on Water, Gatorade, herbal tea and bone broth. Taking Percocet 10 trying to keep the pain under control and Gas X.

That sounds terrible. Did you do an extant to make sure there was no leakage? I hope everything turns out ok.

I don't know why the surgeon don't suggest it but she thought it was a good idea when I asked her. I found that wearing a compression tank top helped with the incision pain immensely. Especially when getting into a sitting position from laying down. Spanks and Genie are budget friendly options.

Wow it's been a rough couple of days. The green stuff Dr decided is old bile. He nicked the underside of my liver... lucky me. I have my drain in for another 2-3 days. Still running a low grade fever but he said that will get better also. I have 10 pounds of Fluid in me and feel really swollen, plus gas pain but no nausea!!!! Just taking it one day at a time. Thanks for checking on me!

I actually told my surgeons not to Nick my liver...she said I should be more worried about my spleen...

Remember to keep sipping Water all the time you are awake.
