mylapspirit 2 Posted September 10, 2007 Could someone please explain to me how you puree tunafish? I put some drained tuna in my magic bullet look alike and all it did was burn up the motor and it was only on for about 30 seconds. It was actually smoking. I then took the tuna out and put it on a chopping board and chopped it up with a chefs knife. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Am I supposed to be adding liquid or something? Thank you, shelli:help:
babygrl1234 6 Posted September 11, 2007 You need to add somethign with it, mayo or miracle whip or something like that. You also don't want to run the Magic Bullet for more than 10-15 seconds max at one time or you will burn the motor out.

JulieNYC 4 Posted September 11, 2007 I find I have to shake the magic bullet while pulsing it when I'm making tuna. shake it like it's a martini shaker. I use about 2T of LF mayo along with a couple of pickles and it comes out really smooth. Good luck!

mylapspirit 2 Posted September 12, 2007 Shelli---Well, how was the tuna? ????????????? I am so jealous!!! Eleven more days for me, then mushies for 1 week and then SOLID FOODS!!!! Never thought scramble eggs would sound so good. The tuna was good - I had 1/4 cup for dinner. It is loaded with good Protein. Did you know that 1/4 cup has 15 grams of Protein. I think that is an awesome amount. When you have your first scrambled egg you will think you are in heaven. You are lucky you only have to do mushies for just one week. I have got 3 weeks of mushies, then 6 weeks of Soft Adaptive Foods, and then I can have solid foods. It will probably be around Thanksgiving Day that I am able to have real solid food - what a day to be thankful for but I noticed that I am not losing as quickly with the mushies as I was on the liquids. Oh well I am off to a good start I think. Did you buy your new car yet? Are you feeling better? I hope so - I was very lethargic today so I don't know what is going on. If this continues I will have to call the doc. Well take care and write soon. shelli:ranger:
