tblock 0 Posted November 11, 2016 Yes my insurance requires 6 months. How did you get approved faster? Do you have a condition that required it to be medically necessary? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Medicare does this to save money. It would be better if the government gave a crap about health since education would improve long term out comes. More and more surgeons are requiring pre op education regardless of insurance requirements. One of the reason we are fat is that we don't want wait for what we want, sometimes waiting a while is a good thing.
washingtongirly 0 Posted January 24, 2017 In washington, even if you have ptc they won't let you fast track with state programs. Even if the insurance tells you it's possible, the surgeon will push you out so that you get the full 6 months of education. My comorbitity is ptc and I'm on month 7 because of the holidays.
