krisk12786 29 Posted November 8, 2016 I have had constant pain since my sleeve. About a year after I had the sleeve they removed my gallbladder to solve the pain and nausea vomiting. It never stopped. I have gone thru meds, er visits, and "possible gastroparesis". Nothing has solved it. I gave up on my original surgeon and found a new one. First meeting he is telling me that it's possible nerve damage or a tightened point in the stomach. More likely nerve damage. He says there are 2 possible fixes: switch to bypass or a pyloric valve repair? Anyone done either? I am headed for some new X-rays and back to see him in December. But one more question, if it does need surgery to repair, anyone have luck getting the surgery pushed up? I met my insurance deductible for this year and it would be great to get this repair in this year if possible. Do doctors even care about things like that? Thanks! Navigating the Wilderness 824 Posted March 28, 2017 Ugh, sorry to hear you are having a hard time of it. My wife had her gallbladder removed and she still gets pain due to scarring, so that is not uncommon. I hope you find a good way through everything. 1 krisk12786 reacted to this

My original surgeon should have never recommended the sleeve with my acid reflux. It only made it worse. It is the base of all the problems 1 Blater reacted to this
