I was 204 pre diet and after 3 day diet was 196. My highest weight was 210. I had surgery 8/26 and I weigh 174.6 now. I feel I've had a lot of weeks with 0 loss but as long as I am moving in the right direction, all is well. How are you doing?

Hi! I was 210 to start, 193 day of surgery (9/21) and 177 today. I've seen a lot of zero losses, too, but the general trend is a losing one, so I'm happy overall. I think weeks 2-4 I saw no changes, and even small gains. It's frustrating when you are in it.

I was 197 at pre op. Had my sleeve done on 10/20. As of my post op yesterday I am 180. I first started this journey in March when I weighed 207. I am now on puréed foods for 2 1/2 weeks.

My surgery was 9/13. I weighed 195 and on Saturday I weighed 172. I am losing slowly about 1-1.5 lbs per week but I have lost each week. I measure myself every 3 weeks on Monday nights and am losing inches. I am wearing much smaller clothes and even my abdominal apron is shrinking. I only weigh at WW meetings on Saturday mornings so as not to focus too much on the scales. I go to the gym at least once a week. My struggles are getting in enough Water and my hair falling out. I come up short every day on the Water but am trying to focus more. I just try to follow all the rules my surgeon set out. I wish you all luck and just keep your focus on the big picture of better fitting clothes and better health.

I'm three weeks post surgery and stuck at 188. I don't plan to go back to work until week six, so maybe I'm not losing like I thought I would because of not much activity. I get out for my daily walk, do the house chores, but that's about it. Because I'm off work (teacher), I am enjoying reading and Netflix. Even though I don't eat much, and just pureed food now, I feel that I need more of an active lifestyle. I am cherishing my disability time-off, but think that when I return to the hectic life of a high school teacher, I'll lose faster. I just hope I have the strength, because now I'm not ingesting much to give me stamina.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
