daretobethin 0 Posted September 10, 2007 Hi everyone...I've been coming here since making the decision to be banded. My paperwork goes to the insurance company this coming week, so I should hopefully hear back in the next 30 days. Can't believe it's this close!!! My doc feels pretty confident that I will be approved and the great thing is my insurance co. pays 100% of the surgery. Wooweee! Anyone in Colorado getting banded by Dr. Michael Johnell in Greeley??? jtag10_4 2 Posted September 10, 2007 Hey I'm going with Dr. Johnell too - I did meet with another surgeon and wasn't too happy, met with Johnell and whether insurance approves it or not - I'm getting it done with him! I am waiting on insurance approval too - but i have a 6 month pre existing conditions clause - so I am working on getting it approved but my waiting period isn't up until 12-31-07 so I have a while to go :-( Are you up north here or are you from Denver? (I just found out today from my insurance company that I was approved and wasn't able to reach the doctors office today, so I am assuming it will be in October) I am 25 and have a BMI of 38, I'm so excited to be approved and can't wait....but still a little nervous......I have never had any surgeries before and also afraid that I won't be successful.
