genn 460 Posted November 10, 2016 I got so sick of the sweet cloying taste of the shakes, Jello and popsicles. When I talked to my bariatric team they suggested making some homemade fresh chicken broth. Not the canned stuff..... If it were not for that, I dont think I would survive. I sipped on it alot pre op and definately post op. i made some yesterday was so good was tired of sweetness. genn 460 Posted November 10, 2016 Really getting tired of the shakes already not the hunger part I can cope with that it's the shakes are making sick to my stomach it took me four hours to talk myself into my lunch one and by then it was soon time for the dinner one. Gunna have to buy plain Protein mix and put it in broth or something. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

lynettec 11 Posted November 14, 2016 sugar free Jello and broth seemed to be it for me. The Jello I think helped because it was like eating solid food and was more satisfying. Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App
