Orange juice

1 week post op today. Craving salad. But i know i cannot have that so i lay those cravings to rest. Also craving OJ. Can we have that this early? Im afraid of it being too acidic.

I was also told never to drink orange juice. Yes it's acidic - but it's also the sugar content

Orange juice is on my plan but after 12 weeks. I'm trying not to drink any of my calories unless the Protein is worth it. Soda was my vice (slippery slope) so I stick to Water, Decaf iced tea, and crystal light.

I like Decaf tea both hot and cold. I do have an orange crystal light packet I'll try it

Well firstly fruit juices of any kind have alot of sugar and calories so they are usually off the table.

You do not want to waste calories with drinks as they dont fill you up with the exception of milk. Milk turns to a solid in your stomach fills you up and is a good source of Protein. Milk does have carbs though but they are good carbs and should be tracked.

No orange juice but Orange flavored Crystal Light is really close to tasting like it. I love this one!!
