Butterflywarrior 241 Posted December 14, 2016 Yeh but again I actually said no to several of there pushy product stuff and they requested to submit it anyways which my insurance paid for and even though I wasn't billed, i was pissed off because I specifically told them no and they did it anyways. That's just not right!!! To make matters worse to me, tge scar cream is not technically scar cream, it's a really potent cream for treating serious skin conditions like psoriasis etc and they send me large bottles each month. I called them leaving a message to please return my call on my account and I got NO call back.... Just to add insult to injury, I'm allergic to aspartame and they sent me the bariatric Vitamins despite me telling them no twice. I called my clinic to clear them and this is partially my fault bc I didn't through read the ingredients but aspartame is in them and I got really really sick all day after ingesting one of those vitamins!! So yes, they are legit but tgey are also shady too and I'm not very trusting if the fact that they misrepresentescsrscar cream, pushed multiple products on me and sent them for approval anyways and nothey haven't even returned my phone calls now that they have gotten what they wanted it appears!! 1 blessedgirl80 reacted to this

I think I vaguely remember reading somewhere on here that they actually bill the insurance company for the Vitamins and scar cream & that the shakes are the perk. Which is probably why they continue to send them to you. In order to get the shakes, they have to have a legitimate prescription and shakes can't be the prescription. So it's like a catch 22. I much rather get the shakes as a pro and not use the cream or vitamins.
clc9 644 Posted January 11, 2017 On another website from 2014, I read a person was appalled to see they charged their insurance $5000 for the scar cream. Seems scammy to me. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App I've worked with these guys for years. They're 100% legit and not a scam. They're upfront about what they send and bill you for.
