I had a band to sleeve revision done on 10/13. I initially dropped about 20 lbs but stopped losing about two weeks ago and have actually gained about 5lbs back?!?!? I'm following all the rules, eating my Protein first, not getting much else in. I know that around three weeks post op you can hit a stall but gaining? I don't even understand how that's possible with the way I'm eating. I'm breastfeeding my almost nine month old daughter, not sure if that's affecting things. Or if my revision is making things more difficult. Either way at almost four weeks post op I'm feeling pretty discouraged and regretting my decision to have the sleeve. Anyone else with similar experience?

It will pick back up. Your body is doing all sorts of internal healing and adjustments in the beginning. And with you breastfeeding, I would imagine that just adds to the adjustments. Give it a little time, and stay off of the scale if it is going to upset you.

I hit the three week stall right on schedule. It lasted 2 weeks and I've lost 1-1.5 pounds every day since then. (Today is Day 39 post-op for me.)

Good luck!

I am 8 months post op and also hit that dreaded 3 week stall. I also tend to go up and down thru the month so don't worry it's just your body adjusting. As long as you follow your plan to the letter dont worry. I have lost 7-9 lbs a month from 2nd month.

Constipation, menstruation, ovulation too much salt... if you are one your plan you didn't actually gain FAT.

I would go out of my mind if I weighed myself every day but just to make sure my husband moved the scale to our kids bathroom (all boys) . It's a level one biohazard, I only go in there to drop off grooming supplies and TP on the counter and take a deep breath first.

If you don't happen to have a level one biohazard area in your house consider giving your scale to goodwill or at least locking it into the trunk of your car.

Aggiemae as a matter of fact I do have a level one biohazard area in my home. I have four sons who share a bathroom. I wouldn't trust leaving me scale in there though, it would probably end up in the pond behind my house ;). I will have my husband move the scale and only weigh once a week. I'm just very paranoid that I'm going to screw this up so I'm being overly cautious with weighing and stuff which is making me crazy!!

We should start a "weight once a week" movement!
