Dairymary 533 Posted November 6, 2016 What are your daily macros looking like? Calories? Protein? Carbs? Water? What do you do all day? How active are you? Excercise? Walking?
chukki 7 Posted November 6, 2016 Why can't we have nuts?
Dairymary 533 Posted November 6, 2016 Why can't we have nuts? Depend on your surgeon's specific postop instructions. Mine said no nuts, seeds or anything crunchy until 3 months to make sure there is no trauma to the staple line before it's healed. I think some nutritionists suggest minimizing nuts because they are high in fat and calories. I ate tons of them once I was allowed, so I guess it's an individual thing. elisa5150 212 Posted November 6, 2016 I had hypothyroid and found out three years ago it was actually Hashimotos. I'll be symptomatic when numbers are in range. Ask for an antibody test. As for sleep, the Vitamin Patches in the store of this app sell a sleep patch that is wonderful. Also my thyroid is super reactive to soy which is in a lot of the high Protein foods and also reactive to cruciferous veggies because of toxins. Try removing soy and going organic on veggies for a week. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
