Feeling Discouraged

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved June 27 of this year and have only loss 40 pounds , I'm thankful for the 40 but I am loosing much slower than most. My Nutritionist thinks its stress and I can't sleep at night, I am hypothyroidism but my levels are at range, its just so discouraging. I made a menu plan and there were 3 things I shouldn't have been eating, 4 wheat crackers, almonds and hot dog.

It would help to know what you are eating in a day.....give specifics regarding what, how it's cooked and the amount you are eating.

What are your daily macros looking like? Calories? Protein? Carbs? Water?

What do you do all day? How active are you? Excercise? Walking?

Why can't we have nuts?

Depend on your surgeon's specific postop instructions. Mine said no nuts, seeds or anything crunchy until 3 months to make sure there is no trauma to the staple line before it's healed. I think some nutritionists suggest minimizing nuts because they are high in fat and calories. I ate tons of them once I was allowed, so I guess it's an individual thing.

I had hypothyroid and found out three years ago it was actually Hashimotos. I'll be symptomatic when numbers are in range. Ask for an antibody test. As for sleep, the Vitamin Patches in the store of this app sell a sleep patch that is wonderful. Also my thyroid is super reactive to soy which is in a lot of the high Protein foods and also reactive to cruciferous veggies because of toxins. Try removing soy and going organic on veggies for a week.
