Sai 785 Posted November 6, 2016 I once had a potassium deficiency, and I had hand and leg cramps so you may be experiencing cramps due to some Vitamin or mineral imbalance. It's a serious thing, I would suggest seeing a doctor ASAP.
PorkChopExpress 822 Posted November 6, 2016 If it's not a potassium deficiency, it's dehydration. Your muscles will cramp BAD if you are dehydrated. Make sure you're getting at least 48oz of Water a day and preferably 64.
aligator517 60 Posted November 6, 2016 Definitely get your potassium checked out. Just found out mine was dangerously low and I'm also two months out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
leebick 448 Posted November 6, 2016 Sleeved Sept. 15, so we are at almost the same point in our journeys! I've had leg cramp problems from the beginning. Nut suggested I drink Powerade Zero instead of just Water, to help with electrolyte balance. If you are still having issues getting all your fluids in, you might try this; it'll help with both Fluid intake and electrolytes.
Carolinax96 0 Posted November 6, 2016 Thanks everyone, It definitely might be the fluids. Its just so hard to get so much Water in and 30 min before and after eating ugh but I will definitely work on it. teedsg 253 Posted December 1, 2016 Don't forget to contact your doctor to check out your Vitamin levels, too. Just in case
