jesse10616 30 Posted November 3, 2016 I'm 4 weeks out since getting revised to the sleeve. I eat about 600 calories per day. How many calories are you eating since your surgery?
PorkChopExpress 821 Posted November 3, 2016 Just about six weeks post-op now and I can get up to around 850/day if I work at it, but my Water intake tends to suffer because I have to do four meals to achieve that. I'm wanting to get up to around 1,000 so that my metabolism keeps going and I have a bit more energy every day, because exercise is burning off a lot of what I eat. However, my stomach and body can only do so much, this early on...so generally I'm right there with you at around 600-700 calories, with 48-60 oz of water. Jacket52204 35 Posted November 3, 2016 I had a revision a little over three weeks ago and I'm struggling to get up to 400 calories a day. Aside from having absolutely no appetite the effort it takes to eat makes it difficult. I'm focusing on Water intake and eating what I can when I can. QueenOfTheTamazons 634 Posted November 3, 2016 My bariatric nurse said that she wanted me to get at least 800 cals a day, as anything less was a starvation diet. She also said 70g of Protein a day and 80-100 when I started working out. I was at 600-750 a day. I still have problems getting 64 oz of Water but I am getting better. jesse10616 30 Posted November 3, 2016 I haven't started an exercise routine just because I'm eating so little. I'm not complaining... Just learning my new stomach and eating habits.
dawnmac3903 103 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) I'm 6 months out and I don't count calories at all. I only count Protein grams 80-120 per day because I workout. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Edited November 3, 2016 by dawnmac3903
francesalisha79 22 Posted November 4, 2016 I just upped my calories to 1000 this last week and I am 8 weeks out. Sometimes I feel like I need a little extra calories and will go up to 1100. I eat every 3 hours. I take in around 60-80 grams of Protein a day. I wasn't one of the lucky ones whose hunger went away, unless I'm confusing hunger with something else. I've been on an antacid since the day of surgery. I drink 50-70 oz of Water a day. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sai 785 Posted November 4, 2016 Program calls for 800-1200 cal/day (from wk 5 when I was approved to eat solids and anything I can tolerate). I'm averaging 946 cal for the last two months.
