I went for close to 3 weeks with less than 1 cc in my band after getting stuck on something and having a lot of swelling. I vowed to not gain any weight and actually lost >8 lbs. Yes I did let myself have a few things I normally can't easily eat (hamburger with bun) but didn't have fries with that etc. you can do it!!!!
argon 3 Posted December 14, 2007 Vegas, do you have to go on liquids or anything while you’re defilled to try to shrink your pouch back?

argon 3 Posted December 17, 2007 If it makes you feel any better, when I was last (and first) defilled, I gained 10 lbs in a glorious 2 weeks, BUT once I was re-filled, I lost it again in less time than that. It's no biggie. Enjoy your 'time off', just not TOO much.
rodeomom 0 Posted December 17, 2007 weighing 167 and haven't been there since my wedding 20 years ago and lovin it. Just can't seem to lose the last 22 lbs. But hey, better than I was a year and a half ago.
goodtimes 0 Posted December 17, 2007 so with you guys almost to your goals, will you go in for another fill?
DeltaDawn 0 Posted December 17, 2007 Will I go for another fill? It is a question I keep asking myself over and over again. I have only had the 1 initial fill a year and a half ago (10 weeks post op). This has meant I have had only minor restriction... but that is fine as it is a tool. But... I might just need that extra kick to get to the finish line... we'll see. Dawn Banded April 4th, 2006 Montreal 358/158/

Paulax 8 Posted December 20, 2007 Deltadawn, Tonks, I was stuck for 6 months. I went in for a fill. At this point even a .1 or .2 fill will make a difference. I was vomiting for a day and half. Scary experience, posted on the support board. So anyway, puked for a day, didn't eat one thing, never lost an ounce...... Focusing on rehydrating today and bleaching every surface in the house. DH had it, I got it next, 3 kids still healthy, knock on wood. Stay healthy folks.
