shellbell816 2 Posted November 3, 2016 I had a VSG in November 2010. I got pregnant 7 months later and after losing maybe 50lbs, I never lost again. I'm going through the process of getting revision surgery, this time full RNY. Sent from my SM-N920T using the BariatricPal App
justhere4theshow 462 Posted November 4, 2016 I just had my sleeve converted to RNY 10/26/16. I had to do it because of severe reflux. My reflux is gone and I am losing weight pretty well. I had slowed down a lot losing weight with the sleeve. The best advice I can give you is just be prepared for a little more pain after the RNY compared to the sleeve. My incisions are very sore, and any movement pulls them and makes them painful. It's temporary, so I am fine with it. I think my results are going to be so much better with the RNY. Just follow your doctor's plan for your recovery, and take it easy until you get healed up. Best wishes to you!
Travelher 915 Posted November 4, 2016 I had band to rny revision. Glad he was able to do an rny. I gather revision to sleeve is easier.
