bissara 18 Posted November 7, 2016 Hi, New to this. I have done all my pre op appointments and I've been approved for Surgery and my surgery is Next Friday Nov 9. Im on a 2 week post op diet first week 2 shakes a day and a high Protein dinner. I did pretty good the first week; slipped one day. I am on my second week and only liquids but I had baked chicken breast and green Beans for lunch. I have lost 12 pounds so far. My question is will this hurt my surgery? Should I tell the doctor? Do you all think it will be okay? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I hope you make sure you are there on Wednesday the 9th and not on Friday;) good luck to you Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
chriseye 3 Posted November 7, 2016 11/14 for me! The shakes are tough - doing Isopure. It's not even the actual shake, it's the thought of what I could be eating instead. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
ChickenChick 30 Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) I'm scheduled for Nov. 21st. I'm not going to lie. I'm a lot anxious about post-opt. I've read too many posts about complications and difficulties. Honestly, it sounds horrifying. I live in Austin, Texas. Are there any support groups here? Thanks. I'm also Austin area, having mine on the 18th. Start my pre-op diet today (low carb - so not that bad). Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Edited November 7, 2016 by ChickenChick
