I had 2 get 4 blood transfusions because of internal bleeding and it scared me!! I realized I have to take everything a lot more seriously then I first thought... your experience help others so keep sharing on here. Please don't get discouraged!! Nothing great comes easy. Try drinking one ounce of Water every 10 min. Set a timer. It will get better.
Rhonda Woodfine 7 Posted November 4, 2016 Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you're recovering after such a traumatic experience. I can only drink thin liquids, both Soup and Protein shakes give me a lot of pain, but tea goes down easily. I know it will get better - again thank you so much and good luck in your journey! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Sorry to hear about your ER visit. I was sleeved on 10/26 and have similar post op experiences. Difficulty with meeting my Protein intake and also have not had a BM since 10/24. Just wondering if the two issues combined could be a concern. I have had zero gas since surgery and my pain travels from my back to my rib cage and around my breast bone.
