MCE1205 47 Posted November 2, 2016 I am 6 mos post op RNY. Last night while I was laying in bed watching television, I developed severe leg cramping in both upper thighs. It was so painful it was almost impossible to get out of bed. Luckily I had a bottle of Water on nightstand and drank a lot of Water thinking it may have been due to dehydration. I finally laid on my side and stretched my leg and did the same to the other side. It wasn't a Charlie horse which is in the calf. It finally relaxed but wow was it uncomfortable. Anyone else experience this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Djmohr 6,965 Posted November 2, 2016 It could be your potassium levels. You need to get checked. I would call the doctor.
MCE1205 47 Posted November 3, 2016 Thanks for the posts. I thought about potassium. I know a banana will help pretty fast. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
