Those of you with smaller boobs are actually kind of lucky. It'll just take a little incision to get the implants in to fill out the skin you already have. I have big boobs, but they like to talk to my belly button. I'll need the surgery with the big anchor shaped scars to get the same look, lol

I was a 48D/DD, now I'm a 36B. Might be getting an aug when I get to goal -- we'll see. I just want to be a C. I don't care to ever see D-land again, but B-land is a little sad.

WOW!!! JulieNYC -

I was just looking at your ticker on your signature line, CONGRATS on all that weight loss!!! I myself had/have a total of 246 lbs to lose to get to my goal. I haven't seen my goal weight since 7th Grade. How did you do it so fast. Everyone makes it seem like it will take me 2+ years to lose the weight. I have lost 30 so far and I am looking at having surgery in November, I won't have my exact date until around the first week of October. I am ok with the length of time that it will take as a matter of fact my hospital ins. covered both Gastric Bypass and LapBand, but they just started doing the banding about 6 months ago. I almost opted for Bypass but decided against it since I wanted to lose the weight a lot slower. Did you excercise? Alot? Right in the beginning? I am looking for all the advice I can get since my surgery will be soon and most of the people in my Hospital are Bypass patients so not many people to get the specialized support from that know more of what I am going through.

Wait, wait.....I think I am the winner for the smallest boobs contest. I am a 42B....yes ladies that is a 42B. I am sure that if they made one of those Barely B bra's in a size 42 around I could maybe fill that one out. LOL.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
