Can someone tell me the reason for the 2 hour 2 meeting for the Psychological evaluation for by pass surgery?

Weight loss surgery will not fix any psychological eating, binging, self sabatoging issues. Additionally it can be very emotionally taxing. The insurance and surgeon want to ensure you are capable of being successful.
