blizair09 3,250 Posted October 30, 2016 If I haven't gone to the bathroom after 3 days (which has only happened twice), I use Milk of Magnesia and it clears it right up. (Just take a sip or two, though...)

My doc told me that as long as it's not causing any discomfort not to worry. Some people are just like that. Weirdly I've been much more regular since the surgery

Omieliz 213 Posted October 31, 2016 I'm exactly 2 months out today. I've had the same exact problem with Constipation this whole time. Milk of Mag did finally work, but I had to take it twice a day, 3 days in a row. Now, I take two stool softeners every morning and I drink Miralax every morning, to try to keep myself more regular. I also purchased a squatty potty from BBB, and that has also helped. I wish I could say that I don't have any more probs with constipation, but I still do. Note: everything I'm currently using, is at the suggestion of my surgeon and the PA. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
