Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App No it's not normal. You need to get checked. You could be extremely anemic or have a bleeding disorder. Anemia can lead to a heart attack. Please get medical care asap.
Jess_eR 13 Posted October 30, 2016 It's your B12!!! Get it tested ASAP critical levels can be very damaging. Feeling lethargic too? Chat to your Endocrinologist - no more than 3 months between checks and injections. You get a mouth spray too
James Marusek 5,244 Posted October 30, 2016 It is common to have quite a bit of bruising during the first month after the operation because you are on blood thinners. But at 6 months post-op, this is abnormal. Need to see your doctor and resolve issue.
pdallariva 57 Posted October 30, 2016 I'm already taking Iron and B12. Can these still be the problem? What kind of bleeding disorder? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Jess_eR 13 Posted October 30, 2016 If you take a B12 supplement you are relying on it all being absorbed. I inject into the muscle.
