ladygg1967 171 Posted October 29, 2016 I've come to the realization that people won't support you because they're envious! You're taking steps to become a healthier version of the person they're used to. If you're anything like me, you probably have a lot of functions at your home for family/friends that involve food. They won't say it, but they're afraid you won't have their favorite foods available to them anymore. I picked up on that vibe when I heard some comments made when another family member had the sleeve.......I decided then just to discuss my healthier eating choices. Only a select few really know what I'm prepping my body for and the REAL reason for the changes.....Everyone else will just see me melt away and attribute it to the nutrional changes I've talked about and made. I'll follow your FB page! Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App

I know all about those types of statements because at one time or another, I've said them. The people in these groups are also JEALOUS of the fact that you're embarking on journey that will not only make you healthier, BUT SMALLER (no more raiding your closets/drawers for clothes too small for you). DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE NEGATIVE NELLIES-DO YOU AND BE HAPPY!!!! Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App Edited November 3, 2016 by ladygg1967
