leaderofmany 0 Posted October 29, 2016 Hello, I have been approved as of Monday to have the sleeve done. I'm very excited because for me it's live or death. I'm writing this from a hospital bed that I have been in too many times within the last few months. I'm so weak now that I'm using my walker to get around and have fell a couple of times. I'm only 46. I have a tracheotomy it was done in April. The dr believes it can be pulled out once I have surgery and lose some weight. The surgery for me is highly risky will probably come out on a ventilator for a few days. All this is scary but I'm told if I don't have the surgery I am only going to get worse. Does anyone else have a tracheotomy and had WLS? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
reree6898 1,164 Posted October 29, 2016 I don't have a trach but someone I love dearly has lived with one for 14 years now. I hope all the best for you and that you have amazing results.
