tempemama 1 Posted November 17, 2016 I'm 16 days out and down 21lbs (pre-op appointment weight). I'm 5' tall, SW 213/ CW 192. It's really bizarre going from being a lifelong fat kid to having no appetite. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all, but am very thankful for a second chance. lisawach 0 Posted December 2, 2016 Had my surgery 10-26-16. Started @ 401.1 2weeks prior. Went on liquid diet before surgery and lost 17 pounds. Am now down 42 pounds and very happy with the results. I have been very compliant food-wise and started PT to get back on the road to exercise. Feeling sooo good!
StabbyUnicorn7 6 Posted December 4, 2016 Nearly 6 weeks out, about 32lbs down from surgery day. For me, the scale moves for several days, then it levels out for a few days. I'm just sticking to my plan as best I can and not worrying about it too much. Kinda bummed about raging post-op acne, but I'm guessing that will smooth out after the major weight loss is over and my hormone levels stabilize. I am super happy to have some actual food in my belly again though--yay for poached chicken!
ava32 48 Posted December 14, 2016 I had my sleeve mid-October and have lost about a pound a day since surgery. I'm happy with those results, however I know others that have lost 15-20 lbs 7-10 days out. I'm just curious to see what the norm is. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Currently going through this now. I had surgery 10/10 and I honestly don't feel the weight is falling off like I hoped. I'm a part of the Bariatric surgery community on Instagram so I get a lot of progress updates from people who have similar surgery dates. I feel like I'm behind the rest of the class. People keep telling me not give up and keep my working hard. Honestly at times I have "buyer's remorse" and feel having surgery was a waste. It is extremely difficult to see the light at end of the tunnel.
