emardee 192 Posted October 27, 2016 I had surgery Aug. 19, went from an 18/20 to a 14 and this past week the 14s are getting too loose--I can take off my favorite jeans without unbuttoning/unzipping them. Yay new jeans. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Ruth1ess 494 Posted October 29, 2016 I'm a size 14, originally a size 24. I'm also only at 6 months! My goal is to be a size 12, but I just hit Onederland today and I'm considering pushing for a sz 10. Goal is so close!
Dairymary 533 Posted October 29, 2016 I don't know what size I was at a year out, but I went from a 26 to 5/6 in 18 months. You will be swimming in that size 10 dress before you know it!
Synee 12 Posted October 29, 2016 Thanks to all you ladies I'm inspired and super excited! I guess I didn't realise how quickly the pants size went down! Sent from my LG-H820 using the BariatricPal App
BestDayEver 418 Posted October 29, 2016 I went from a size 22/3X to a size 6 pants, 8 or 10 top/dress, medium. I lost 120 pounds since surgery and I'm 5'10". Sizing is so weird and I don't get hung up on the numbers and just try to find what looks best. It varies a lot by manufacturer. I bought an expensive blouse as an incentive piece of clothing and once it fit I hated how it looked on me, what a waste of money.
Dub 9,922 Posted October 29, 2016 I went from a 60" to 42". More left to loose.

beaker27 37 Posted November 2, 2016 @@Synee This was my experience with surgery. My high weight 254 I went from a 22/24 pants and XX large top. Goal weight 140 in six months.to a size 3/5 pants and a small to a med top. depending on the designer. I'm now 2 1/2 years out. I maintain my weight in the 130's. During weight loss I dropped sizes quickly. My husband would have to tell me to get new clothing. I went from a 22/24 to 16 in two months. I can't remember after that how many times changed sizes. But it was many times..lol I never thought I would be this size even with surgery. On a side note: I made a video of my loss. I used the photos that my hubby took of me each month to compare my weight loss. Some of the photos make me laugh. I didn't realize my clothing was too large. I needed to change sizes. I had no clue. http://www.bariatricpal.com/videos/view-10-goal/ So inspiring! Sent from my KFSAWI using the BariatricPal App
