dylan75 0 Posted October 25, 2016 Hi all, I'm due to have my surgery at the end of next month, but I'm concerned the surgery may affect my ability to do my job. I have a job that requires heavy lifting and strenuous work in sometimes very hot conditions. On a hot day I could consume 8 ltrs and still end up dehydrated by shift end. Can anyone tell me if they think I will be able to get enough Water to function? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Vinasu 621 Posted October 25, 2016 It depends. I had no trouble gulping Water after five days. Others I know sip for years. I suspect most people are somewhere in between. However, you have months to recover before it gets hot again. Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

LadyDarkness415 41 Posted October 26, 2016 It took me almost 2 months to be able to intake larger amounts of Water. ~~ LadyDarkness415 ~~
dylan75 0 Posted October 27, 2016 Thanks for your answers, it sounds like I'm in for some major dehydration issues. It's just heading in to the hottest time of the year here in Australia, so I guess I'll make drinking Water my main goal post op Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
