mrzlbc 5 Posted October 24, 2016 I had my surgery on 10/19 I was fine the first 3 days but now when I drink fluids I get really bad diarrhea and my stomach is constantly hurting like I need to use the bathroom all the time. I don't know what to do. I called my doctor and he said that was normal. Did anyone feel this way? KristenLe 5,979 Posted October 24, 2016 Yes - same for me. Not so much bad pains - but diarrhea. Mine actually stopped today (now I'm afraid I'm going to be constipated). I had surgery the day before you! Be sure you are drinking alot.

blazermom 17 Posted October 24, 2016 Same I had surgery on the 17th why this awful diarrhea the past 24 hours. Scared to eat my delicious full liquids LOL. I was thinking flu bug or something. I'm wiped
laceemouse 631 Posted October 24, 2016 I would think a full liquid diet would be the culprit, or maybe even a reaction to various pain meds and such. I had my gallbladder out 15 years ago and am prone to diarrhea very easily since then, I fully expect to have it after my sleeve surgery next Monday.
