NJ Mom 30 Posted October 24, 2016 Hi everyone! I have a few bags of 310 shake powder that I bought about 6 months ago on one of my failed diets. I am getting sleeved in November and would like to use the 310 shakes if possible, since I know they taste great and they were kind of expensive! Just wanted to get your opinions on the ingrediants...I think they may be a bit low in Protein for me after sleeving...90 calories, 15 g protein, sweetened with stevia so >1 g of sugar....if I mix with unsweeted almond milk or skim milk I can add another 4 or 5 gr of protein....what do you think? Should I purchase one with higher protein per serving? Thanks!
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) They are kinda low Protein for immediately post op. I have 15g Protein drinks but they are just for like when I am running around and I am a year out, and eat over 100g of Protein a day. You need something with meal level protein replacement, closer to the 30 range. Just because post-op, you might only be able to have 1/2 a shake and that might take a while. Save those shakes for when you are further healed. Edited October 24, 2016 by OutsideMatchInside

Guest Posted October 24, 2016 You should try to find a good 100% whey Protein isolate, not whey concentrate nor hydrolyzed Protein. Check out PDCAAS ratings too. If you use the 310 you may want to up protein with Fairlife mile (13 g protein) ???? Sent from my SM-G900H using the BariatricPal App
