RNMomof4 86 Posted October 24, 2016 I just realized all these flavored waters I bought are carbonated Water. Do you think they will be ok to drink after surgery if I open them and let them go flat? Hate to waste them but I'm sure the kids will drink them if I can't. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Icantbelieveit 955 Posted October 24, 2016 Are they zero calorie? If so, flat should be ok Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App

JenniferP1 75 Posted October 24, 2016 Give them away -- no carbonation after surgery.
gidgetgrl 76 Posted October 24, 2016 I'm sure you can return them to the store and use credit to get non carbonated beverages. I would not take the chance to drink them flat...
KristenLe 5,979 Posted October 24, 2016 @@RNMomof4 They're going to be gross flat - not worth it. Give them to the kids - and get yourself something else.
Angel_M 5 Posted October 24, 2016 I wouldn't risk it...especially so early on.

Shell Renewed 176 Posted October 24, 2016 Carbonated beverages bloat (and can eventually stretch) the sleeve. Not worth it.
