shedo82773 1,236 Posted October 23, 2016 I had to do Protein drinks 2 weeks preop and 4 weeks postop. I suffered BAD with Diarrhea. My Surgeon finally told me that I was Lactose Intolerant. Maybe this is what is going on with you. I also am afraid to take anything for diarrhea because then I get constipated or the other way around. One extreme to the other with me. GEARJAMMER 2 Posted October 26, 2016 I had same operation the same day and haven't gone to bathroom yet. I just ate purée for first time so hopefully that will break the seal. LOL. I was taking a lot of pain pills for both my knees bone on bone and 3 bad discs. So I guess we'll see. I hope yours slows down. If your not too careful that could turn into dehydration.
