Sore throat

Hello,

I'm 16 days post op and I have a terrible sore throat and the more I talk the harder it is for me to speak. My surgeon believes it's acid reflux because of my hernia repair and issues with my esophagus during the sleeve surgery. I'm taking Nexium once a day for the past week.

I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with it this long? When did you begin to feel better? What did you take?

Mee too that's what I was going to post any gastric sleeve with hiatal hernia repair, I see people eating good and I can get my food liquid, puree down.

@@jesse10616 You may need something else instead of Nexium or added to the Nexium. Call your Dr and see if they can give you something else.

My doc prescribes liquid carafate for acid throats. Helps me, hoping others can get relief from that yucky taste and feeling.
