It's so nice to be able to come to a place where people understand where you're coming from with your weight problems and make it easy for you to ask questions because they understand...I'm sure we all want to be treated with respect here and I'm sure everyone will understand. Thanks for that.

So far I have lost 24 lbs in 4 weeks. It feels good to lose the weight but I dont see any difference.

first hello to all

going to see surgeon on 1st nov and hope to have band fitted on 24th, have spent the last week researching, found this site today and looks very promising for help and support for the life changing surgery i hope to have

same here!! at first I thought, well it's do-able, but then when I had to drink the whole two giant cups full I just couldn't see myself finishing and snuck in the rest room to dump about half a cup. I still drank a whole lot and felt like puking. by the time I got home, I ended up on the toilet(with the nasty barium coming out the other end for the rest of the day) EWW!!
